So many lambs!
Here's a handsome twin ram born in the past week. More baby photos are going up on the farm facebook page.
At this stage they're still under evaluation, but if you see one you're very interested in, contact me about putting it on hold.

I'm either simplifying or complicating...
You can now follow me on Facebook.
Jersey West (Farm)
I expect to use this for baby pictures, for starters. It's hard to post lamb photos here when I don't know which ones will be for sale until they're older, but if I don't snap those baby shots right away, they never get taken. It's really nice to have those when evaluating the lambs and dams later on. It's also great to have something to do with them right away - fingers crossed that it gets me to actually take them (and also that my camera works. I miss my old camera before it broke!) Bonus - photos are loads of help when someone loses a tag. I make note of colors and patterns in my birth records, but a photo is even more help. So in the next month or so you'll see a stream of baby photos and possibly also some shots of the reconstruction going on here, the new chickens, and the weather, since I am the perpetual (*cough cough* BORING *cough*) farmer when it comes to the weather (and slightly smitten, ever since my Meteorology class in 2000).

Update - Lambs on the way
Lambs are on their way. The Navajo Churro and crossbred flock ewes are due February 21st. The yearlings and Jacobs are due in March.
I'm attempting to fix up the site, cause it to make more sense, create ease in tracing my flock bloodlines and make what's currently available for purchase straightforward.
I'm also considering starting a facebook account for the farm. Anybody interested in following it? It would provide news, lamb photos, and wool availability as well as some posts about what's available in the etsy shop.
By the way, would you believe it? This site has topped 10,000 views!
In the interim, feel free to pop over to Groundhog Day to keep up with the rebuilding of my sheep sheds.
